95% of the shootings, 87% of the murder victims, 75% of the rape victims, 75% of the assault victims and 70% of the robbery victims in NYC are minorities

HERE ARE THE FACTS:

95% of the shootings, 87% of the murder victims, 75% of the rape victims, 75% of the assault victims and 70% of the robbery victims in NYC are minorities - mostly black and hispanic.

When cops in NYC are on call, they are more than likely preventing and catching criminals in minority neighborhoods.

The NYPD - more than any other agency - serves the minority community.

2013 NYPD STATS HERE.

THE NYPD MADE ABOUT 320,000 ARRESTS IN 2013 - ABOUT 90,000 FOR FELONIES.

PERHAPS SOME ARRESTS WENT DOWN POORLY - AS THE GARNER CASE SEEMS TO HAVE DONE UNFORTUNATELY,

BUT THERE IS NO FACTUAL BASIS FOR CALLING THE NYPD RACIST OR INCOMPETENT OR OVER-AGGRESSIVE.

THERE ARE RELATIVELY FEW BAD ARRESTS IN NYC. AND WHEN THERE IS ONE, IT'S NEWS - AND THE BAD COP USUALLY IS PUNISHED (2012, NYPost):
An NYPD officer who trumped up charges against a black man on Staten Island and was later caught referring to him by the “n-word” was sentenced to 57 months in prison today.
“I screwed up now. It’s all over, my career is over,” said Michael Daragjati, a white eight-year department veteran, was convicted of misusing his authority as a police officer to intentionally violate the man’s civil rights.
Brooklyn federal court Judge William Kuntz agreed, saying, “You kicked it to the curb” as a courtroom packed with Daragjati supporters looked on, including the disgraced former cop’s weeping wife.
Daragjati, 33, had previously admitted that he deliberately falsified charges to arrest the young black man after the two exchanged angry words during a street encounter while the officer was on plainclothes patrol in April 2011.
Following the incident, FBI agents listening in on a phone conversation recorded Daragjati talking about the encounter and using the “N-word” to refer to the black man he had arrested on trumped-up resisting arrest charges.
In that call, the then-cop bragged that he had “fried another n—-.”
Daragjati has since admitted he knew that by leveling the falsified resisting arrest charge, the man would have “to spend the night in jail – which he otherwise would not have done.”
THERE IS NOT A SYSTEMIC PROBLEM IN THE NYPD.
THERE IS NOT A POLICY PROBLEM IN THE NYPD.
AND WHEN THERE IS BAD COP, HE GETS PUNISHED.

THE LEFT HATES THE TOUGH POLICE STARTEGIES INTRODUCED BY GIULIANI - AND BRATTON AND KELLY.

CRIME RATES HAVE STEADILY GONE DOWN EVER SINCE NYC ELECTED RUDY GIULIANI AND HE AND HIS POLICE COMMISSIONERS INSTITUTED TOUGHER POLICING.

(THE CURRENT POLICE COMMISSIONER AND THE PRECEDING ONE WERE BOTH ORIGINALLY BROUGHT IN BY GIULIANI.)

DEBLASIO IS ANOTHER DINKINS, ONLY WORSE.

THE POLICIES OF DEBLASIO AND HIS COMRADES ON THE LEFT - WHO ARE ORGANIZING THE CURRENT WAVE OF ANTI-POLICE PROTESTS - WILL RUIN THE CITY AND BRING BACK THE ERA OF RAMPANT CRIME.

AND THAT WILL HARM MINORITIES THE MOST.

SO,  DON'T FALL FOR THE BS, FOR THE LIES AND PROPAGANDA.

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL POLICE.

SUPPORT STOP & FRISK AND "BROKEN WINDOW" POLICING.

IT WORKS.
